A Spotlight on Atlanta, Georgia Branch Manager, David Pierre

David Pierre, a proud Air Force veteran, was born in Pensacola, FL, and later settled in Tampa following his honorable discharge from military service. His journey with Pool Troopers began with the acquisition of his company, Professional Pool Solutions, in 2023. Founded in 1996, Professional Pool Solutions grew from a one-person startup into a thriving business with nearly 400 accounts and a team of seven employees. The acquisition marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both David and Pool Troopers.

David’s move to Newnan, Georgia, was driven by a desire to be closer to family. With his in-laws, son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren all residing in Newnan, the decision offered a chance to strengthen family bonds. Proximity to his sister in Pensacola was another key factor, making the move a win-win for personal and professional growth.

Experiencing Growth and Overcoming Challenges:

Establishing the Atlanta branch involved building a strong local presence. David introduced himself and Pool Troopers to key industry partners, including distributors, pool builders, and realtors, to foster trust and position the branch as a reliable community partner. A pivotal moment was participating in the North Atlanta Home Show with support from colleagues Patrick Krantzberg, Kara Tolland, Hillary Rymer, and the Marketing team, who played instrumental roles in launching innovative strategies to drive leads and growth.

Since opening the Atlanta branch, David has found the experience rewarding. He thrives on growing the business and delivering superior customer service, which are hallmarks of Pool Troopers. Growth in Atlanta has been modest but promising, reflecting the seasonal nature of pool usage in the region. Adjusting to these unique market conditions has been both a challenge and an opportunity for innovation.

Strengthening the Team:

The addition of two talented colleagues, Moussa Dabdoub and Daniel Sheets, has significantly enhanced the branch’s capabilities. Moussa, a skilled mechanic with commercial equipment expertise, and Daniel, a CPO-certified professional with four years of experience, have brought valuable skills and a calming presence that resonates with customers. Their contributions have allowed David to focus on quality control, expand repair services, and drive growth while maintaining high standards.

David’s vision for the Atlanta branch includes securing a dedicated office space, which will serve as a hub for operations and a symbol of Pool Troopers’ commitment to the community. This milestone will streamline inventory management, improve workflow, and foster team cohesion.

Memorable Milestones and Words of Wisdom:

One of David’s favorite memories since opening the branch is witnessing the immediate impact of marketing efforts. Additionally, he’s experienced the thrill of responding to an influx of customer inquiries following email campaigns—a testament to the team’s hard work and growing presence in the community.

David’s advice to fellow employees is simple yet profound: “Stay positive and proactive. Tackle challenges as they arise and lean on the Pool Troopers team for support. Above all, have fun while performing your duties. A positive attitude can uplift not just you but also your customers and coworkers.”

David Pierre’s dedication and vision exemplify the values that drive Pool Troopers. His journey from Florida to Georgia, coupled with his passion for growth and customer service, is inspiring. As the Atlanta branch continues to expand, David’s leadership and the support of his team are paving the way for lasting success!
