Chemical Balancing & Water Quality Management
New Port Richey’s warm, humid weather makes precise water chemistry essential for both safety and comfort. Every visit includes a professional 8-point chemical analysis that tests chlorine, pH, and alkalinity – along with the other critical parameters that keep your water balanced:
- Chlorine or sanitizer levels kept in the proper range to ensure swim-safe water.
- pH and total alkalinity adjusted to prevent eye irritation and equipment corrosion – maintaining pH levels between 7.2 and 7.8 is crucial for pool safety.
- Cyanuric acid (stabilizer) monitored to protect chlorine from intense Florida sun; cyanuric acid stabilizes chlorine levels in outdoor pools exposed to heavy UV.
- Calcium hardness maintained between 200–400 ppm to avoid scaling on tile, heaters, and pool surfaces.
Proper chemical balancing prevents algae growth in pools, and all chemicals can be included with your service plan, so you never have to buy or store them yourself. Regular pool care is essential to combat the intense sun and heavy rain that define the New Port Richey climate.
